I had the opportunity to hear for the first time a most amazing two-piece group, Nineteen Thirteen, at the Arts + Literature Laboratory this past Friday evening.

The duo behind this wonderful collaboration is Victor DeLorenzo, drummer with the Violent Femmes, and the amazing cellist Janet Schiff. Together they blend the melodic hum and strum of Janet’s cello with the brush and thump of Victor’s drums. Do check out Nineteen Thirteen as soon as you can!
