The voters of Wisconsin turned out and voted against Governor Scott Walker and Attorney General Brad Schimel. In their place, Tony Evers and Josh Kaul were chosen to replace Walker and Schimel. However, the Republicans, who controls both the state house and senate, decided they would be sore losers and voted to strip Governor-Elect Evers and Attorney General-Elect Kaul of the powers these office currently have under Republican control. As per usual, Scott Fitzgerald and Robin Vos, two greedy old power-hungry white males, who are suspected of being shills for the Koch brothers and ALEC, pushed through legislation behind closed doors and in the dead of the night while Wisconsin slept.

Today’s rally was yet another this week to remind Walker that the will of the people said he and his backward policies are out, and that he should veto the bill passed by the Fitzgerald and Vos and their minions.

Speakers included: Scot Ross, Joel Jacobsen, Matt Rothschild, Chris Taylor, and Nicki Vander Meulen. In addition, Doug La Follette, Secretary of State of Wisconsin, made a surprise speech that got the crowd of a couple hundred fired up!
