A rally today on the Wisconsin State Capital State Street steps, hosted by SNMA UW School of Medicine & Public Health Chapter, was held to highlight that racism isn’t only a social problem but contributes greatly to health disparities along racial and ethnic lines in the United States.

Well over 500 people, mostly healthcare professionals and health profession students, but also community leaders and community members, gathered to listen to speakers talk about personal and professional experiences related to racism and racial disparities in healthcare.
