Today was “Day Without Latinxs & Immigrants—Driver Licenses for All” rally at the Wisconsin State Capitol. This was a statewide mobilization and call for a general strike: no work, no school, no buying. In addition, it was a gathering to urge the state legislature to restore driver licenses and state ID cards for all in Wisconsin. Thousands came together, filling the steps, sidewalk, and Capitol lawn, square and rotunda.
