In the studio with MisterG at WSUM radio station for the first of several in-studio portrait sessions.

MisterG walks in carrying a well worn duffle bag containing a couple dozen CD’s, a baseball, a utility knife, and a MacBook Pro with a desktop filled with folders containing music sent to him by musicians from around the world.

In a semi-frenetic manor, MisterG scurries around the studio putting together todays playlist: David Grisman to Tom Waits to Cibo Matto. The list will grow during his shift and is put together on the fly out of mood and necessity!

At 11am MisterG will interview David Krakauer about his new CD. MIsterG is a seasoned interviewer, having spoken with musicians such as Taj Weekes, JD McPherson, Anoushka Shankar, Dessa, and Victor DeLorenzo from the Violent Femmes, just to name a VERY few. And when eleven rolls around, today’s interview is flawless!

MisterG has been on air for nearly 10 years, starting at radio station WHUS in Connecticut, and currently on-air every Saturday from 9-12 at WSUM, Madison, WI. You can follow him on these fine social networks:
