Spent some time at the Wisconsin State Capital today for the Solidarity Sing Along (a group of folks who have been meeting at noon everyday to sing protest songs in response to the draconian ways of the governor and republican party). Recently, these sing-along’s have been invaded by the Capital Police who, under orders, have been arresting participants because this gathering has been determined unlawful. In the hour I was there today 3 or 4 people were arrested. The rest of the time in an act of intimidation, the police circled the outer hall around the rotunda looking for others to arrest.
